County Judge Gary Graham has given Crystal River attorney Charles Horn a variety of memos and other documents regarding Graham's decision to hand over the county's misdemeanor probation system to the Salvation Army. Horn formally requested the information in a letter to Graham. Horn said Graham has withheld the information to avoid a public discussion of the issues.
Graham said he has honored County Attorney Larry Haag's request that he not discuss the reasons behind the decision.
The documents are memos describing the numbers and types of errors made by probation department employees.
