Gulfstream Homes opens new model home center

Gulfstream Homes has opened a new model home center in the village of Manchester at Tampa Palms. The model center showcases the Wellington (see floor plan), Ancroft and Bristol floor plans, designed by Arthur Danielian of California. The one- and two-story residences feature merchandising by Third Coast Interiors of Austin, Texas. The homes contain four and five bedrooms with two and a half baths and two-care and three-car garages. Living areas range from 2,312 to 3,163 square feet.

Other features in the homes include formal dining rooms, European-styled exteriors, volume ceilings, ceramic tile foyers, fireplaces, glass entry doors and large master suites.

The Ancroft model contains a "Casita," a totally separate villa from the main residence.

The two-story Wellington model features a spiral staircase in the foyer, 20-foot ceilings and a master suite with an optional two-sided fireplace between the master bedroom and bath, along with its own private veranda.

Gulfstream Homes is a division of the Plantation-based Gulfstream Land and Development Corp. The firm's homes at Manchester are priced from $159,900 including home site.

The model home center is at 5010 Southampton Circle in the Tampa Palms village of Manchester. Tampa Palms is a 9,000-acre community off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard between interstates 75 and 275. The model home center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

New sales assistant

Karen Winter has been appointed a sales assistant for Arthur Rutenberg Homes at Hunter's Green, a community off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in north Tampa. Ms. Winter will assist sales associates and provide information to prospective home buyers.

Before joining Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Ms. Winter was a residential leasing agent with Paragon Group for two years at apartment communities throughout the bay area. Ms. Winter has a real estate sales license.

Arthur Rutenberg has 43 executive residences in the 18-acre village of Fox Chase at Hunter's Green. The homes are priced from the high $100s including home site.

Hunter's Green is a 2,000-acre community developed by Markborough Florida and located a mile east of I-75. During the next decade, more than 4,000 homes are expected to be built at Hunter's Green.

Sales people recognized

Pavilion Home Corp. recently recognized its top sales people at an annual employee awards ceremony.

Brenda Baker was named sales counselor of the year for Pavilion for her work at Buckhorn Estates and Fairway Ridge, the Pavilion communities she represents. Mrs. Baker, senior sales counselor for Pavilion, has been with the company five years.

Margaret Brantmyer joined Pavilion a year ago and was honored as salesperson of the year for the most number of units sold. Mrs. Brantmyer is responsible for sales activity at Brentwood Hills and has worked for more than 20 years in general real estate and with builders the past 12 years.

The 1989 Special Achievement Award went to Cathy Trowell, sales counselor for Brentwood Hills. Mrs. Trowell is a Seffner resident and former member of the Land O'Lakes Chamber of Commerce. She has worked in real estate since 1987.

Pavilion has a number of homes in several communities, including Buckhorn Estates, Lithia Ridge, Boyette Oaks, Sterling, Fairway Ridge, Bloomingdale Hills and Brentwood Hills.
