Holiday teen chosen for conference

Kimberly Murray, 16, of Holiday was selected to attend the 1990 National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. Jan. 16-21. Kimberly was chosen on scholastic ability.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Murray of Holiday.

A junior at Gulf High School, Miss Murray is a member of Future Business Leaders of America and the National French Honor Society. She also is on the girls golf team, has been a member of the tennis team and symphony and marching bands, was named to All-County Band and attended the state convention for Future Business Leaders of America.

She received an award from the Daughters of the American Revolution and was finalist in a national spelling bee.

She is a member of the Greater Tampa Golf Association, Tri-County Golf Association and is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs.

Her goals are to major in accounting and law.
