Volunteers were honored by the Hernando Pasco Hospice at an annual Recognition Luncheon recently at the Sheraton Inn in New Port Richey. Last year, more than 200 volunteers contributed more than 10,000 hours of service in patient homes, community presentations, fund-raisers and by performing clerical duties for Hospice.
Ardis Toole of Zephyrhills received the Volunteer of the Year Award for East Pasco. The award for West Pasco went to Genevieve Fisher of Holiday. Charles Wilson of Timber Pines was the Hernando winner.
Helen Schreck of Hudson is the first volunteer to contribute more than 1,000 hours to Hospice. Volunteers receiving awards for more than 450 hours are Virginia Horasanian, Marion Ingram, Nora Rutkowske and Dorothy Trower.
Volunteers receiving honors for more than 250 hours are Shirley Batty, Norma Benjamen, Landelle Edgar, Genevieve Fisher, Roger Frantino, Muriel Jacobsen, Doris Montgomery, Marjorie Nall, Dorothy Vasallo and Marina Vukoty.
Ruth Kanar, Augusta Risseeuw, Lenny Priest, John Bodnar, Milton Brodey, Jeanne Candy, Muriel Jacobsen, Hazel Harrison, Louise Kienle, Joan Barbarulo, Helen Walter, Lola Chippi and Virginia Erlandson received special recognition.

HUDSON _ Bernard V. Malinowski of Hudson was named Craftsman of the Year by the Suncoast Club of Printing House Craftsmen at an annual banquet recently at the Holiday Inn Ashley Plaza in Tampa.
Malinowski was cited for his role in club activities as well as his recent chairmanship of the 7th District Conference of the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen.
He is president of the Beacon Woods East Homeowners Association.
