Missouri guard Coward out with broken wrist

COLUMBIA, Mo. _ Lee Coward, starting point guard for the second-ranked Missouri Tigers, had a cast placed on his left wrist and will miss at least two weeks, Coach Norm Stewart said Monday.

Stewart said Coward's wrist was fractured, but that it did not appear surgery will be required.

Coward came up holding the wrist after he was knocked down in a collision with several players under the Oklahoma basket in Missouri's 92-90 win over the Sooners on Sunday. Coward did not start the second half, although he played and finished with seven points.

Coward, a senior, had hurt the same wrist earlier this year.
