Variety of arts being displayed

CITRUS HILLS _ The Citrus County Art League is displaying the works of Irene Morris, Fawn Zeller, John Massman, Homer Dimmick and Ellen Reinhart. Morris is a landscape artist who works in oils and acrylics. Her work is represented in public and private collections, and she has displayed paintings throughout Florida and at the Art Gallerie Vahall in Stockholm.

Zeller has perfected her techniques of doll-making during the past 30 years. Her sculptures are done free-hand in flesh-colored clay and are dressed in authentic period costumes. The dolls are displayed with accessories, furniture or background scenes made by the artist.

Massman works primarily in oils. His work is in private collections throughout the United States and New Zealand.

Dimmick's watercolors reflect his love of the lake country of Minnesota and the river country of Florida. He has won many local awards, and one of his paintings is in the permanent collection of Pasco-Hernando Community College.

Reinhart is the originator and developer of "Puritan Traditional Painting," a decorative form for furniture. She has conducted many classes and is an instructor of oil painting at the Citrus County Art League.

The works will remain on display at the Art League Gallery at County Road 486 and Annapolis Avenue through March 7. Gallery hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The public is invited. There is no admission charge.
