A Sarasota teen-ager died early Sunday after his car overturned about 2:45 a.m., , the Florida Highway Patrol said. Another teen-ager was injured.. Timothy Allen Mafera, 18, of 3145 42nd St., Sarasota, was was pronounced dead shortly after the 2:45 a.m. crash. His passenger, Robin Blombergh, 17, of 341 49th St., Sarasota, was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where she was in stable condition Sunday. The highway patrol said Mafera was driving south on Singletary Road south of State Road 70 when he apparently lost control of his Mazda RX7. DUNEDIN _ A woman was in intensive care at Bayfront Medical Center Sunday night after her car collided with another at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dunedin Police Officer Scott Marchetta said. Rebecca Dyer, 30, of 1195 Bass Blvd. in Dunedin, was driving north on Highland Avenue, turned on San Christopher Drive and collided with a car driven by Sharon Hiller, 42, of Dunedin. Dyer and her children were taken to Mease Hospital Dunedin and released. No charges were filed.
