A robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of money Monday after a holdup at Pioneer Savings Bank, 2301 Sunset Point Road. No one was injured in the 2 p.m. robbery, police said. The man implied he was armed, but no weapon was seen when he forced employees to hand over money.

He was described as white, in his 40s, 6 feet 1 and 190 pounds. He has black hair and a mustache, police said. The robber wore black-framed sunglasses, a long-sleeved white shirt, a dark tie and black pants.

He used a black satchel to carry the money out of the bank, police said.
