Give the man in the blue work suit an A for creativity but an F for law and order. That's what the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority decided Monday when members learned of a vagrant who posed as a toll collector at an unmanned tollbooth on the Crosstown Expressway. The vagrant, whose name was not released, donned a blue work suit and took tolls from drivers at the Platt Street exit during one day in September, said Pete Bond, director of toll facilities. Bond said the man stood outside the locked tollbooth for several hours before a driver called police, who arrested the man. Bond said the expressway authority has no idea how much money the man collected. "He was even giving receipts," said Bond, who explained that the man brought a generic receipt book. "At least that was nice of him."Correction
