A man wearing a camouflage cap and pants robbed a bank of an undisclosed amount of money early Tuesday, Temple Terrace police said. The man, in his mid- to late 20s, entered the First Florida Bank, 10903 N 56th St., about 9:35 a.m., Lt. Clark Baxley said. He told a teller he had a gun, but didn't show it, Baxley said. He demanded money and ran away, he said. The robber is described as white, 6 feet with a medium build. He has several days' growth of beard, shoulder-length brown hair tucked into his cap and was wearing a short-sleeve turquoise pullover shirt, Baxley said. The bank is two blocks from the police station and 12 police cars answered the call within two minutes, Baxley said.
