CRYSTAL RIVER _ State Education Commissioner Betty Castor will visit Citrus County on Nov. 14 to participate in several activities planned around "Open School Week" Nov. 12-16. The theme for the week is "Home is a School Zone Too," which echoes Castor's belief that family plays a large role in the education process. Activities are planned in each county school. Castor is expected to attend the grand opening of the parent resource library at Pleasant Grove Elementary School and visit the home of an Inverness Middle School student. "Citrus County is lucky to have so many parents who actively participate in their child's education," Superintendent Carl Austin said.
