New Kids on the Block will sing at Super Bowl halftime

New Kids on the Block will perform during halftime of the Super Bowl Jan. 27 at Tampa Stadium. The musical group will sing at the end of the show, "A Small World Salute to 25 Years of the Super Bowl," produced by Walt Disney World. The announcement was made Friday in Orlando. The show will feature 2,000 children from the Tampa Bay area. Tryouts have already been held for a five-minute show that will include children acting the roles of cheerleaders, football players and referees.Correction, Section A
