Upper falters, but wins Club Player of Year Award

Bob Boyd shot a 5-under-par 67 Friday to win the Wilson PGA Club Professional Classic by two shots over Clearwater's Brett Upper and Larry Emery. Despite the second-place tie, Upper still received enough points to clinch the PGA Club Professional Player of the Year Award.

Upper, of Feather Sound Country Club, lost the lead on the back nine and shot 72 for a 278 total.

The win earned Boyd $10,000. Upper won $6,000.
