Nichirei International: Ayako Okamoto rolled in a 90-foot eagle putt on the last hole and helped the United States move ahead of a Japanese team after the second round of the tournament in Ina, Japan. Okamoto is playing for the United States in the competition between LPGA Tour players in the two countries because she is a regular on the U.S. tour.

The Americans won six of the eight matches on the second day of the three-day tournament and took the lead with 9{ points. The Japanese have 6{ points.
