Man robs all-night store

A Presto convenience store was robbed of $3,000 worth of cigarettes, cash and lottery tickets early Sunday morning, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. The robber, who did not display or mention a weapon, was described as a white man about 32 years old, 5-foot-6 and 165 pounds, with curly, collar-length reddish-brown hair and wearing a military fatigue shirt and jeans.

After announcing the robbery, he told a clerk to load about 60 cartons of cigarettes, as well as hundreds of Sand Dollar, Magic Money, Fifty Grand and Instant Cash lottery tickets, into plastic bags. The man then took the bags outside one at a time, a sheriff's report said.

No vehicle was seen. The store, at 13508 Hicks Road, was robbed about 3:30 a.m.
