BALL, DONNA ALICE, 48, of Tampa, died Friday (May 31, 1991) at home. She was born in Maples, Minn., and moved here in 1956. She was a nurses' aide at Hospice of Hillsborough, and a member of Temple Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William F.; two sons, Richard James Forsythe, Gainesville, Robert Edward Forsythe, Texas; three daughters, Rose F. FOWLER, CHARLOTTE JEAN, 56, of Valrico, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) at Humana Hospital in Brandon. She was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., and lived here all her life. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. GRIZZARD, ANNIE W. "RUTH," 86, of Tampa, died Friday (May 31, 1991) in Tampa. She was born in Rentz, Ga., and moved here six years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Rentz Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Morris C. Grizzard, Albany, Ga., Hubert E. Grizzard, Macon, Ga., Clayton W. Grizzard, Tampa, and Andrew J. HAMMOND, LONNIE CLIFFORD, 71, of Brandon, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) at home. He was born in Andalusia, Ala., and lived here all his life. He was a centralized traffic controller for the railroad, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon. Survivors include his wife, Jean K.; two daughters, Patricia Barnes, Fayetteville, N.C., and Linda L. HELMS, GORDON J. F., 74, of Tampa, died Tuesday (May 28, 1991) at Centurion Hospital of Carrollwood. He was born in Watertown, Wis., and moved here from Seymour, Wis., in 1953. He was an engineer for Business Machinery and a Lutheran. HOWARD, CHARLES H. "CHARLEY," 76, of Land O'Lakes, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) in DeLand. He was born in Saline, Mich., and moved to Land O'Lakes from Tampa 30 years ago. He was a machinist for the tool and die industry, and a member of the Land O'Lakes Volunteer Fire Department, the Land O'Lakes Civic Club, and the Masonic Lodge in Saline. KINARD, LELAND DAVID, 74, of Plant City, died Friday (May 31, 1991) at South Florida Baptist Hospital. He was born in Plant City and is a lifelong resident of the area. He was a farmer, a member of the Church of Christ, and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include three sisters, Alma Kinard, Plant City, Mabel Todd, Dover, and Effie Kinard, Plant City. KINCHLEY, MARIE MENENDEZ TOWNE, 94, of Tampa, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) at home. She was born in Tampa and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a bank collection department head and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was from a pioneer Tampa family, a former member of the Junior League of Tampa, and a graduate of Academy of the Holy Names. Survivors include two sons, Dudley Porch Towne, Lakeland, John Mack Towne, Tampa; a daughter, Roberta Towne Smith, Tampa; a brother, Manuel Menendez, Titusville; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. PEARSON, ALVIN T., 60, of Seffner, died Friday (May 31, 1991) at Humana Hospital in Brandon. He was born in Mayo. and was a lifelong resident of the area. He owned and operated Pearson & Boutwell Accounting and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon. Survivors include his wife, Avis; three sons, Mike Pearson, Plant City, Larry and Thomas Pearson, both of Seffner; a daughter, Debbie Middlebrook, Polk City, Fl.; two brothers, Kenneth Pearson, Seffner, and Braxton Pearson, Brandon; and five sisters, Doris Bos, Panama City, Fla., Deloris Swymer and JoAnn Nichols, both of Brandon, Diane Fischer and Jennell Miller, both of Valrico; and seven grandchildren. PIERCE, JOHN H., 46, of Boca Raton, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) in Boca Raton at Hospice by the Sea. He was born in Tallahassee and lived in Tampa for 23 years. He was a hotel/restaurant manager, an Air Force veteran, and a member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. STEWART, WINTRESS, 85, of Georgia, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) in Georgia. She was born in Danville, Ill., and lived in Tampa for 37 years before moving to Georgia five years ago. She was a retired sales clerk for Sears, Roebuck and Co., and a member of North Rome Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Dave Stewart, Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Naomi Cockerham, Oakwood Ga., and Jessimae Stewart, Tampa; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
