Show aids Alzheimer's group

The Oxford House in Tarpon Springs was the site of a luncheon and fashion show sponsored by The Alzheimer's Disease Support Group of West Pasco Inc. Fashions were provided by Patchington's, hairstyles by Judi DePetrillo and makeup by Marilyn Halleen and Frieda McMaster. The fund-raiser was chaired by Maria Curley and Millie Alvino and the models were Chris Duvall, Mary Jones, Lucille Lazich, Maile A. Nee, Mary Ann Prokupek, Curley, Alvino and DePetrillo.

The Alzheimer's Disease Support Group is a not-for-profit organization and a recipient of United Way Funds. The group meets monthly to promote the care of Alzheimer and other dementia patients and offers care and council to their caregivers. Basic programs include the identification bracelets for wandering patients and a respite program for caregivers. For information on meeting times and location, call (813) 862-9291.
