A man was stabbed to death and a woman seriously injured in an attack at a North Tampa home late Sunday, sheriff's officials said. Deputies and detectives were searching for the attackers early this morning, said sheriff's spokesman Jack Espinosa. The attack at 15416 Morning Drive NW happened about 9 p.m. Espinosa said the man was stabbed in the stomach and neck. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital and died shortly afterward. The woman suffered serious cuts but was in stable condition, Espinosa said. Their names were not released. LARGO _ Police have identified the two people who died in a two-car accident Saturday night as Gerald Breckman, 64, and his wife, Doreen, 61. They were killed when their Chrysler was struck by a Ford Ranchero driven by David A. Hannan, 37, according to a news release from the Largo Police Department. The accident occurred at Missouri Avenue and Fourth Avenue NW. Police did not have an address for the Breckmans. Hannan and Rick Duane Pensinger, a passenger in Hannan's car, were taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center. They were listed in stable condition Sunday.

OCALA _ A Sydney woman was killed Sunday morning when the car she was riding in overturned near the Sumter and Marion county line. The Florida Highway Patrol said Melinda Tena Gonzalez, 22, was driving north on State Road 93 when she apparently fell asleep and lost control of her 1979 Ford. It overturned, throwing out Yolanda Gonzalez, 38, who was killed. Melinda Gonzalez and two other passengers, Sabestian Gonzalez, 14, and Rosemary Gonzalez, 5, suffered minor injuries. The driver was charged with careless driving.
