ASHMORE, ROSE, infant daughter of John and Linda, of Crystal River, died Friday (May 31, 1991). Survivors also include a sister, Christina Walters, Crystal River; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John R., Crystal River; and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Deal, Okahumpka. Hooper Funeral Home, Homosassa. DEARCAS, MILDRED MARY, 76, of Inverness, died Thursday (May 30, 1991) at home. She was born in Lima, Ohio, and was a member of the Hernando First Assembly of God. Survivors include three sons, Alfred Lemieux, Barbersville, W.Va., John Lemieux, Hastings, Mich., and Ron Peters, Inverness; a daughter, Lee Walters, Melbourne; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. DIXON, WILLIAM H. "BILL," 53, of Brooksville, died Sunday (June 2, 1991) at Eastbrooke Health Care Center. Born in Auburn, Ill., he came here 23 years ago from Fort Thomas, Ky. He was a retired maintenance employee with McDonald's restaurant, Brooksville, and a Protestant. Survivors include three sons, Billy, Scott and Brian, all of Brooksville; his parents, Frank and Estar, Auburn; three brothers, Charles, Pekin, Ill., Roger, Auburn, and Bob, Springfield, Ill.; and a sister, Betty Jean, Springfield. GORTA, JOHN, 82, of Homosassa, died Thursday (May 30, 1991). He came here 19 years ago from his native Cleveland. He was a retired employee with the city of Cleveland and a Lutheran. Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, John Z., Walton Hills, Ohio, and Robert S., Cleveland; a daughter, Helen Czinke, Allentown, Pa.; a sister, Margit Leonart, Czechoslovakia; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. MOORE, JOHN L., 71, of Inverness, died Friday (May 31, 1991). Born in Freedom, Pa., he came here four years ago from Pinellas County. He was a retired sales representative and a Presbyterian. He was a member of the Eugene Quinn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4337. Survivors include three sons, Dennis and Kevin, both of Inverness, and C.B., Clearwater; two daughters, Altie, Fredericksburg, Va., and Kathryn Menking, Harrisonburg, Va.; and eight grandchildren. PETEREIT, RUTH SIEVERS, 83, of Crystal River, died Saturday (June 1, 1991). Born in Walker, Mich., she came here 10 years ago from Paso Robles, Calif. She was a retired beautician. There are no known survivors. Hooper Funeral Home, Homosassa.

SHELEY, KATHARINA MAASS, 62, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Hernando, died Friday (May 31, 1991) in Colorado Springs. She was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, and was Catholic. She was a member of the Lost Chord Club. Survivors include a son, Maurice, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Marilyn Weeks and Michelle Hall, both of Colorado Springs; and four grandchildren. WALKER, ARCH, 68, of Brooksville, died Monday (June 3, 1991) at home. Born in Newport, Ky., he came here 11 years ago from Miami. He was a funeral director with A.C. Dobbling Funeral Homes, Bellevue, Ky., Van Orsdel Mortuary, Miami, and Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Brooksville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council 6383, Spring Hill. Survivors include his wife, Kay; a son, Dennis, Brooksville; and two grandchildren. Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Brooksville.

WINRICH, ELMER MERLE, 80, of Homosassa, died Saturday (June 1, 1991). Born in Eau Claire, Wis., he came here five years ago from Mission, Texas. He was a retired rubber tire employee and a member and treasurer of the Hope Lutheran Church. He was the vice president of the Local Rubber Workers Union 19. Survivors include his wife, Anna V.; a son, James, Eau Claire; three daughters, Sally Bell, Eau Claire, Kathleen Wright, River Falls, Wis., and Mary Kragness, Stillwater, Minn.; four brothers, Fred and Edward, both of Eau Claire, Albert, Jackson, Minn., and Harry, Spanaway, Wash.; a sister, Myrtle Duncan, Tacoma, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
