75-year-old man charged with exposure

A 75-year-old Spring Hill man was arrested and charged with exposing himself Wednesday evening after he allegedly asked a 4-year-old boy to fondle him at the Wal-Mart store on U.S. 19. Joseph Santangello also was charged with lewd and lascivious assault. He was released from the Hernando County Jail after posting $16,000 bail. According to the Sheriff's Office report, a customer told Wal-Mart manager Randy Allison that she had seen a man exposing himself in the domestics department. Allison said he saw a man holding up the right leg of his shorts and the boy touching him. Santangello was taken to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, where he at first denied the allegation, then admitted exposing himself and making the boy touch him, according to the report.Correction
