94th Areo Squadron restaurant sold

Tom and Jody Pritchard have purchased the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant from Specialty Restaurants Corp. Pritchard was corporate executive chef for Specialty Restaurants Corp. for the past 13 years. His work included overseeing menu design, recipes and specifications, kitchen design, labor control and training programs for the corporation's 75 restaurants. He will be chef of the 94th Aero Squadron.

Mrs. Pritchard previously worked for Specialty in various management positions. She has a bachelor's degree in music education and teaching from the University of Florida. She will manage the restaurant at 94 Fairchild Drive, just north of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.

Donald S. Jones has been named public relations and services consultant at Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes. Jones is a retired A.G. Edwards & Sons account executive and a former Dunedin city commissioner. He is on the board of trustees at Mease Health Care and is a member of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, Dunedin Council of Organizations and Dunedin Historical Society.

His past affiliations included the Honeymoon Island Task Force, Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, Stadium Task Force and Pinellas County Transit Authority.

Moss-Feaster operates six funeral chapels in Pinellas County.

Vision Cable names north county technician

Roland Hurney has been named north county chief technician for Vision Cable of Pinellas Inc. He will be responsible for the company's north county system technicians and cable plant maintenance.

Before joining Vision Cable, he worked as a plant manager for Bermuda Cablevision Ltd., Hamilton, Bermuda.

nursing director named

Dr. David P. Myers has been named medical director at Professional Comprehensive Addiction Services Inc. He also is affiliated with Care Unit, Project Recovery and Healthcare Connection of Tampa.

Joann L. Dohn, R.N., has been named director of nursing at the private alcohol and drug treatment agency. She previously was director of nursing at Care Unit, Tampa.

Advanced Technology has new board member

Gerald J. Tobias has been named to the advisory board of Advanced Technology and Research Inc.

Tobias has nearly 40 years' experience in the aerospace industry, including management positions at Boeing Aircraft and Rohr Industries. He was president of Sikorsky Aircraft for eight years and president of Rogerson Aircraft for six years.

He received an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship at the graduate school of business, Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif., and holds honorary doctorate degrees from Bridgeport University and Bridgeport Engineering Institute in Connecticut.

Advanced Technology and Research manufactures composite materials used in the aerospace, transportation, defense and marine industries. The company is at 14201 Myerlake Circle, Clearwater.

The Clearwater law firm Gross & Kwall, P.A., has been included in the 1991 edition of Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. The firm was included in the book's criminal trial section and the general practice section.

The firm was founded in 1983 by Raymond O. Gross, a former assistant public defender, and Louis Kwall, a former chief assistant in the consumer fraud division of the state attorney's office for Pinellas and Pasco counties.
