A 19-year-old Dade City man was charged Monday with pawning a radio he allegedly had stolen from a local church last week. Archie Dowling Grace Jr. of Blanton Street is accused of breaking a window at the Northside Baptist Church on Lock Street the night of June 6, and taking sound equipment and cameras valued at a total of $180, a Sheriff's Office report said. The next day, Grace pawned the radio at Buck's Pawn Shop, also on Lock Street, for $25, the report stated. It wasn't stated what led detectives to Grace, who was charged with burglary and dealing in stolen property. Grace, who also was charged with burglarizing a car the same day as the church break-in, was held at the Central Pasco Detention Center on Tuesday in lieu of $15,000 bail. Also charged with burglarizing the church was a boy whose name was not released because of his age, the report stated.Correction
