Bulls reserve guard Dennis Hopson isn't enjoying the NBA Finals. Hopson, who cost Chicago its 1990 draft choice in a trade, has contributed little in the playoffs.
Hopson said he "broke down and cried" after the Bulls' four-game sweep of Detroit in the Eastern Conference finals.
"I'd never done that in my life, but that's the way I felt. I felt that I wasn't a part anymore, that my own team doesn't need me."
Johnson on Johnson
Johnson of the Lakers said that Boston's Dennis Johnson was the toughest defender he ever faced but that the Bulls' duo of Jordan and Scottie Pippen has impressed him.
"If this year was any indication, I don't think I have a future," Johnson said. "I don't want to go through another season like this again."
