Maryland Club announces officers

Betty Conley will serve as president of the Suncoast Maryland Club for 1991-92. She will be assisted by Wilbur "Buck" Buxton, vice president; Nancy Wiegand, second vice president; Delores Lancaster, secretary; and Gene Dague, treasurer.

Appointees are Marge Dague, sunshine, and Flo Iacchere, chaplain.

The Maryland Club meets at noon the first Wednesday of the month, recessing for the summer. The first meeting of the new season is scheduled in September at the Magnolia Valley Country Club in New Port Richey.

Preschool prepares

to send off graduates

The sixth annual preschool commencement exercises are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church Preschool, 12321 Canton Ave., Hudson.

Graduates are Michael Kanaris, Michael Hamilton, Brent Hess, Erik Burgan, Mark Baker, Michael Mangione, Ryan Murdock, Erin McGuire, Susan Sanchez, Jennifer Mehltretter, Megan Streid, Meghan McAteer and Michelle Pigott.

Knights of Columbus

council names president

Charles Wills has been named grand knight of the St. Michael's Knights of Columbus Council 10377 for the coming year.

He will be assisted by Vic Caran, deputy grand knight; John Kain, chancellor; Jim McVey, recorder; Joe Corbett, financial secretary; Dale Chipman, treasurer; Harry Whitemore, outside guard; Richard Overbeck, advocate; William Dwyer, warden; and Krine Overbeck, inside guard.

The Rev. Desmond Daly is chaplain.

Nelson Kallis, Paul Robinson and Joe LaMarco are trustees.

Lions Club prepares

to install officers

Lion Zone chairman Tom Parrillo will have a joint installation of officers of the Lions Clubs of West Pasco on Saturday at the Pulaski Polish Club, 1055 Darlington Road, Holiday.

A cocktail hour is planned before dinner at 7:30 p.m. Dinner costs $8 per person.

Introductions will be by Joe Librandi. Stan Malecky, past district governor, will be the installing officer.

Lions of the Year will be announced.

The evening will conclude with a benediction by Parrillo.

Florida WAC chapter

will install new officers

The Florida Sunshine Chapter 79, Women's Army Corps (WAC) Veterans Association will install new officers during ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hudson Library, Fivay Road, Hudson.

Members who have not been installed also will be installed at the meeting.

Ruth Helbig, founder and organizer of the chapter in 1987, will be the installing officer.

After the installation, members will gather for lunch at the Blue Dolphin Restaurant, State Road 52, Hudson.
