Notes: Kennedy now has the ACC first-year record for road victories with five. The Seminoles are 5-1. FSU is only 3-3 at home, one of the losses coming to Virginia. Doug Edwards had made 25 of his past 26 free throws. Freshman guard Bob Sura is making a case for ACC rookie of the year. He had 25 points against N.C. State on Monday. He made 8 of 14 field goals.
