Nominations sought for Hall of Fame

The 10th annual Senior Hall of Fame, which honors adults age 65 and older for outstanding community contributions of time and talent, will accept nomination applications at the Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N, until March 13. Nominees must be 65 or older, year-round county residents who have lived here for more than three years and have provided a community service. Information on nominees should be submitted in an application available at the Sunshine Center or on a plain piece of paper with the nominee's name, address, phone number and birth date and a 200-word summary of the reason for nomination. Winners will receive two tickets to the event of their choice at the Coliseum ballroom and a key to the city. Applications should be mailed to Senior Hall of Fame, Office on Aging, P.O. County water payments taken at mall

ST. PETERSBURG _ Pinellas County water customers may now drop their water bill payments at the City Hall in the Mall/Pinellas County Services Center in Tyrone Square Mall, 6901 22nd Ave. N. The booth already accepts St. Petersburg utility bills and Florida Power bills. Bill payments are picked up daily by a Pinellas County Water Department representative. The bills are then delivered to the county's Oakhurst office in Seminole for processing. The City Hall in the Mall/Pinellas County Services Center, in front of JCPenney, is open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Residents may drop off their bill payments (check or money orders only) anytime during mall hours.
