OBITUARIES

BUCKMAN, THOMAS LEE, 84, of Hudson, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1992) at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Henderson County, Ky., he came here six years ago from Waverly, Ky., and was a coal miner. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus 1367, Fourth Degree. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Lee Ann Key, Reed, Ky.; a brother, Rudy, Lewisport, Ky.; a sister, Audrea Floyd, Morganfield, Ky.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. COOK, BETTY, 64, of Lutz, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1992) at home. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, she came here 38 years ago from Simcoe, Ontario, and was an accountant for an automobile dealer. She was a Protestant. Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Crews and Christie Crews, both of Lutz; a sister, Jean Greer, Simcoe; her father, Lloyd Brown, Simcoe; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. F. T. DEMAREST, ZORA, 77, of Holiday, died Sunday (Feb. 9, 1992) at home. She came here 18 years ago from her native Newark, N.J. She was a Lutheran. Survivors include a nephew, Danial Yovanovick. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Holiday.

FLAHERTY, CONSTANCE R., 69, of Port Richey, died Saturday (Feb. 8, 1992) at home. Born in Nova Scotia, she came here 20 years ago from Somerville, Mass., and was a Pasco County STAR Program employee. She was a Catholic. Survivors include a son, Michael, East Boston, Mass.; a brother, Charles Nickerson, Port Richey; two sisters, Patricia Cahill, Port Richey, and Jean, Revere, Mass.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. GARONE, ANN M., 74, of Holiday, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1992) at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she came here 15 years ago from New York. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and Holiday Lake Estates Civic Association. Survivors include two sons, Henry Anthony, New Hampshire, and Thomas Anthony, New York; two daughters, Caroline LaDesma, Arizona, and Mary Ann Lovich, New York; two brothers, Anthony Lovaglio, Holiday, and Salvatore Lovaglio, New York; four sisters, Eleanor Agrioganis, Anna Ierardi, Margaret Trotta and Antoinette Trotta, all of New York; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. HOVEKAMP, HAZEL R., 87, of Holiday, died Saturday (Feb. 8, 1992) at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital. Born in Covington, Ky., she came here eight years ago from Kentucky, and was a clerk with the U.S. government. Survivors include a sister, Iva Richards, Holiday; and a niece, Janet Ferguson, Holiday. JONES, LAURA MAY, 79, of New Port Richey, died Monday (Feb. 10, 1992) at Forest Glen Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, she came here 14 years ago from New Jersey, and was an executive secretary. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Port Richey. Survivors include her husband, David, Hudson. National Cremation Society, Holiday.

MAGAY, DONALD C., 79, of Port Richey, died Wednesday (Feb. 12, 1992) at home. He came here 14 years ago from his native Erie, Pa., and was a retired optician. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; two daughters, Barbara Beisel, Pittsburgh, and Deborah Thomas, Randolph, N.J.; a sister, Edith Theobald, Erie; and four grandchildren. MARTIN, KATHLEEN J., 70, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1992) at Riverside Hospital. Born in Clay, Ky., she came here five years ago from Mount Clemens, Mich. She was a Protestant. Survivors include three sons, Harold G. and Dwaine, both of Mount Clemens, and David, Brown City, Mich.; three daughters, Nora Mercer, New Port Richey, Dellene Wilson, Richmond, Mich., and Karren Currey, Sterling Heights, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. WOODBURY, GEORGE R., 67, of Port Richey, died Sunday (Feb. 9, 1992) in Tampa. A native of Ipswich, Mass., he came here nine years ago from Tarrytown, N.Y., and was a manager with Railway Express Agency. He was a member of Magnolia Valley Golf Club.
