Two men were arrested Friday following the 19th reported home invasion in Tampa this year and the sixth this week in Hillsborough County.
This time, three men forced their way into a north Tampa duplex and cornered a couple in the bedroom. One man pointed a pistol at Ladena Mouling, 21, and another pistol-whipped Willie Cherry, 23, Tampa police said.
A third man, yelling "Give it up, give it up," ransacked the apartment, police said.
Neighbors heard the commotion and called police, who recovered two handguns and arrested two of the men. James Lowder, 20, and Tony Moore, 22, each were charged with armed burglary and armed robbery. Each was being held in the Hillsborough County Jail on Friday night in lieu of $51,000 bail.
