My first Winter Olympics prediction: Today is can't-miss day on CBS (Ch. 13).
The undefeated USA hockey plays Poland (live).
NFL running back Herschel Walker and teammate Brian Shimer of Naples compete for the United States in the two-man bobsled.
U.S. speed skater Dan Jansen goes for the gold in the men's 500 meters.
Christopher Bowman, Todd Eldredge and Paul Wylie of the United States, world champion Kurt Browning of Canada and leader Viktor Petrenko of the Unified Team are among those competing in the men's figure skating final.
U.S. skier Krista Schmidinger _ who placed a surprising second in the downhill portion in women's combined Alpine skiing _ tries for a repeat performance in the downhill.
Schmidinger probably will be featured in CBS' new "Two-Way Gate-Cam" in prime time (7-11 p.m.). The device has two cameras mounted back-to-back on Gate 19 of the women's downhill course in Meribel. The first camera shoots the skier as she approaches the gate. As the skier passes the gate, the second camera films the skier from behind as she continues down the mountain.
Hockey and two-man bobsled will be shown from 1 to 6 p.m. Skiing and skating are reserved for prime time.
