Tugboats to the rescue

Tugboats free a chemical-laden tanker Friday after it veered 300 yards outside a shipping channel in Tampa Bay and ran aground Thursday night. U.S. Coast Guard officials said the Jo Oak, a 574-foot tanker, did not appear to be damaged and did not leak fuel or spill any of the 33,000 metric tons of acid stored in its stainless-steel cargo holds. No injuries to the ship's 26 crew members were reported.
