House on move stuck in trees

A two-bedroom house making its way through Largo on the back of a flatbed truck got stuck between trees early Tuesday morning about a block from its destination, 363 Fourth St. NW.

The concrete block house with an attached garage remained in the center of the street from 4 until 10 a.m., when city workers were able to free it by trimming some branches. The house, built in the early 1960s, will belong to Coleen and Daniel Mazzilli when minor renovations are completed in about a month.

Sun Coast Hospital donated the house to the city with the stipulation that it be moved away from hospital grounds on Indian Rocks Road.
