Clearwater, Seminole and Dunedin won first-round games in the Class 4A, District 7 girls basketball tournament Wednesday night.
Dunedin defeated Northeast 46-41 in the opening game while host Seminole downed Pinellas Park 44-30 and Clearwater routed Largo 81-44.

Dunedin's Melissa Szentmiklosi scored a season-high 12 points and Kendra Blanks contributed 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds to lead the Falcons past the Vikings.
Seminole's 6-feet-5 center Christine Olson scored 17 of her game-high 23 points in the second half to help the Warhawks down the Patriots, who had won four straight district titles.
Stacia Kasper scored 27 points as the second-seeded Tornadoes easily defeated the Packers.
