Benefit is for Youth Aliyah

A public benefit for Youth Aliyah sponsored by the Pasco Chapter of Hadassah is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Jewish Community Center, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey.

Reba Ressnick and Faye Stoller are chairwomen.

Judith Peters, regional Youth Aliyah chairwoman, will talk about the rescue and rehabilitation movement of Youth Aliyah. Many institutions are maintained within Youth Aliyah; educational courses in villages and centers teach, among other subjects, home economics, electronics, agriculture, nursing and the enhancement and appreciation of oneself.

Entertainment includes Israeli dancing with audience participation.

Lillian Vrabel is hospitality chairwoman. A strawberry dessert will be served.

Decorations will carry a strawberry motif by Estelle Berry.

Timber Oaks Watch: officers

The Timber Oaks Neighborhood Watch has elected officers for 1992.

Bob McFeeters will serve as president; Leo Scaparro, first vice president; Jim Holley, second vice president; Russell Lambaugh, secretary; and Ray Chipman, treasurer.
