Grammy-nominated jazz player to perform twice in Tampa

Ira Sullivan, a five-time Grammy nominated jazz horn player, will perform at 8 p.m. today at the University of South Florida, Theatre Two, 4202 E Fowler Ave., and at 8 p.m. Saturday at Harbour Island, Tampa.

Sullivan has toured nationally and led several jazz groups, including The Baker's Dozen and Strings Attached.

Sullivan will perform at USF with the school's Jazz Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Ron Blake. Tickets are $6 general admission, $3.50 for students and seniors and are available from USF's fine arts box office.
