The deadline to register for the Nov. 3 presidential election is 5 p.m. Monday, but many registration locations will be available before then.
University Square and Tampa Bay Center malls will provide registration from noon to 9 p.m. today. Booths will be set up near Walden Books in Tampa Bay Center and in the main corridor near Wards in University Square. Registration is available at the public library in East Lake Mall.
All 26 Hillsborough County Kash n' Karry locations will register voters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Spec's Music & Movies stores also will conduct registrations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at its six county locations.
Voters also may register from noon to 3 p.m. today during a Democratic Party rally at the Lowry Park Bandshell.
The League of Women Voters will have its Vote Van at the Old Train Depot in Plant City from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. today and at Red Rabbit Video in Temple Terrace from 5 to 8 p.m. today. The van will be at Jerry Ulm Dodge on N Dale Mabry Highway from noon to 5 p.m. Monday.
Florida election laws do not allow Sunday registration, but more than 50 permanent weekday registration sites will be available Monday. They include:
The Tax Collector's Auto Tag Offices at 3932 W Hillsborough Ave., 1854 J.L. Redman Parkway, 9325 Bay Plaza Blvd. and Sun Point Shopping Center.
The Clerk of Circuit Court Offices at 1103 E 139th Ave. and 302 Michigan Ave.
Public libraries at 900 N Ashley Drive, Citrus Park, College Hill, Eastlake Mall, Lutz, Port Tampa, Ruskin, Thonotosassa, West Tampa, Ybor City and Plant City.
In addition, registration is available at the Elections Office in the Main Courthouse in downtown Tampa and at every Barnett Bank branch in the county.
