FITNESS POLL '92

Autumn is here. Sunny days. Cooler air. Long walks.

The summer heat that held us indoors no longer rules. It's time to get out and get active.

Along with the return of milder weather comes our second fitness poll. This year's version follows Fitness Poll '91, which drew 1,573 responses.

Some of the questions for '92 are repeats of our originals. We want to know about your exercise habits: if, when and what. Your diet: good, bad or downright ugly. Your weight: heavy, light or in between.

But we've also added some new questions. Who's your favorite fitness celebrity? When's the last time you saw a doctor or dentist?

Also new for this year's poll is an expanded area for your comments. And we have an optional request: Include a B&W or color photo of yourself _ jogging, swimming, golfing, etc. We will then select some photos to run with comments when we publish the results (sometime in November). One very important note: Because of the large number of responses we may receive, we will be unable to return your photos, so send only a picture that you don't want back.
