Donna Spangler, L.P.N., who has been named employee of the month for September at Heritage Health Care Center in Inverness. She has been and employee at Heritage since February. She began her career as a certified nursing aide and completed the Licensed Practical Nurses program at Withlacoochee Vocational Center eight years ago. She is now studying to become a registered nurse. She receives $50 and a plaque honoring her achievement.

Naomi Grace Maccaro, age 6, of New York, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William MacMillan of Homosassa Springs. She has been named Miss New York American Princess for 1992-1993. She will represent the state of New York at the National Pageant Nov. 24-29 in Tampa. National competitions include academic achievement, talent, speech, photogenic, personality and the National Queen's contest.
