OBITUARIES

ALLEN, JOHNNIE H., 84, of Albany, Ga., formerly of Crystal River, died Friday (Oct. 2, 1992) at the Albany Health Care Center. She was born in Terrell County, Ga., and was retired. She was a Baptist and life member of the Lioness Club, Crystal River, and the Albany Lioness Club. Survivors include a sister, Lucile Foreman, Albany; and several nieces and nephews. DUFF, DOROTHY ANNA, 78, of Inverness, died Saturday (Oct. 3, 1992). Born in Philadelphia, she came here five years ago from Naples. She was a Protestant. Survivors include two sons, David Jr., LaPorte, Texas, and Dennis, Boynton Beach; a daughter, Sandra Selzer, Inverness; a sister, Germaine Schleyer, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. EADLER, GLENN E. JR., 74, of Brookridge, died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1992) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Richmond, Ind., he came here eight years ago from Elgin, Ill., and was a retired maintenance engineer for the Elgin Public School System and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Elgin. Survivors include his wife, Doris Jane; a brother, Ronald, Elgin; and three sisters, Connie Durkes and Mary McCrachen, both of Converse, Ind., and Patricia Levereny, Elgin. LEWIS, D. MAYE, of Spring Hill, died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1992) at Windsor Woods Convalescent Center. Born in Madison, she came here 12 years ago from New Philadelphia, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Survivors include her husband, Clark; a son, Clark, Cleveland; a daughter, Maude Giarrizzo, Macedonia, Ohio; a brother, Claude Coffee, Lake City; a sister, Eloise Barnes, Pelzer, S.C.; and five grandchildren. MERONE, EDWARD ETTORE, 82, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (Oct. 3, 1992) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., he came here 19 years ago from Germany and was a retired engineer for the Air Force. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Filomena; and a brother, Neno, Verbank, N.Y. Turner Funeral Homes, Spring Hill.

TAVEIRNE, HECTOR J., 71, of Beverly Hills, died Friday (Oct. 2, 1992) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. He came here eight years ago from his native Detroit and was a retired commercial printer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and its Men's Club and Harry Nesbit Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10087 and a life member of American Legion Post 237. Survivors include his wife, Ann J.; two sons, James, Louisville, Ky., and Edward, Sterling Heights, Mich.; a brother, Louis Hebben, Detroit; a sister, Paula Baetens, Venice; and four grandchildren.
