OBITUARIES

BLAIR, GEORGE L., 74, of Holiday, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Temperance, Mich., he came here five years ago from Toledo, Ohio. He was a retired hotel maintenance employee and a Protestant. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Michael J. Cicero Post 173, Holiday. Survivors include four sisters, Lillian R. Strauss, Holiday, and Laura Krinke, Mary Bofia and Dorothy Snyder, all of Toledo; and two grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies. Funeral Home, Holiday.

BURLEW, BRIAN, 70, of Spring Hil, formerly of Holiday, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at Vencor Hospital, Tampa. Born in Matawan, N.J., he came here three years ago from Staten Island, N.Y. He was a retired security guard and a Protestant. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 1, Albany, N.Y. Survivors include a stepson, Guy Fisher, Bricktown, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Titus, Mystic, Conn.; a companion, Patricia Slide, Spring Hill; and two grandchildren. CAMPBELL, MARY C., 84, of Dade City, died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1992) at Heartland of Zephyrhills. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she came here nine years ago from Bradenton. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church and a violinist for the West Coast Symphony. Survivors include a daughter, Donna M. Nason, St. Charles, Ill.; a brother, Don Schillig, Buffalo; three sisters, Edna Pauly, Buffalo, Doris Palmer, Lakeview, N.Y., and Rita Gibbons, Tonawanda, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. CANTELMO, PETER J., 76, of Hudson, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at Riverside Hospital. He came here four years ago from his native Fall River, Mass. He was a supervisor and inspector of motor vehicles, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Leatrice; two daughters, Anna Marie Rousseau, North Dartmouth, Mass., and Linda Lee Diez, Hudson; a brother, Paul, Swansea, Mass.; and three grandchildren. CAVALL, VICTOR, 80, of San Antonio, Fla., died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at Humana Hospital Pasco. Born in New York City, he came here 19 years ago from Boonton, N.J. He was a retired barber and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Dean, Dade City, and Bruce, Ridge Manor; two daughters, Patricia Viobro, Lake Shawnee, N.J., and Marie Cavall, San Antonio; a brother, Cosimo Cavalluzzo, Benevento, Italy; and five grandchildren. COOK, RUTH M., 62, of Port Richey, died Tuesday (Oct. 6, 1992) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Newark, N.J., she came here six years ago from West Caldwell, N.J. Survivors include her husband, Warren; three sons, Glenn, Wallington, N.J., Jay and Michael, both of Clifton, N.J.; a daughter, Peggy Roberson, Clifton; three sisters, Jean Lane, Lavallette, N.J., Dolores Bell, Vineland, N.J., and Marion Gocklin, Linden, N.J.; and seven grandchildren. FLETCHER, FRANCIS, 74, of New Port Richey, died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1992) at Southern Pines Nursing Center, New Port Richey. He came here 18 years ago from his native Detroit. He was a retired supervisor for Chrysler Dodge Co., Detroit., and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2284, the Moose Lodge 1429 and the American Legion. Survivors include a son, Kenneth, Michigan; a daughter, Cheryl Sweet, Fairwell, Mich.; a brother, William, New Port Richey; two sisters, Betty Schuster, New Port Richey, and Mary Ellen McFarland, Detroit; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. JASMAGY, MAUDE R., 93, of New Port Richey, died Saturday (Oct. 3, 1992) at Central Gulfside Hospice, New Port Richey. Born in Center Moriches, N.Y., she came here 45 years ago from West Hampton Beach, N.Y. She was a Methodist and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 132, Dunedin. Survivors include a daughter, Lucia Power, Old Town; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Holiday.

KLEIN, MARY A., 88, of Hudson, died Tuesday (Oct. 6, 1992) at home. Born in Germany, she came here 11 years ago from Strongsville, Ohio. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Church of God. Survivors include a sister, Lena Lahl, Rocky River, Ohio; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Bell Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

LEHR, JUDYTH LYN, 44, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday (Oct. 6, 1992) at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. She came here nine years ago from her native Tarpon Springs. She was a secretary for NationsBank, Tarpon Springs. Survivors include her husband, Peter; two stepsons, Peter A., Fort Myers, and John A., Miami; a stepdaughter, Donna O., Gainesville; her parents, George and Ruth Kapsalis, Tarpon Springs; and a sister, Laurie Jan Prewitt, Holiday. LENKO, FRANCIS N., 40, of Port Richey, died Saturday (Oct. 3, 1992) as the result of an automobile accident. He came here one year ago from his native Newburgh, N.Y. He was a driver for Pasco Yellow Cab Co. and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; a son, Rosario Santiamagro, Walkill, N.Y.; two daughters, Natalya Lenko and Christina Santiamagro, both of Port Richey; his parents, Robert and Mary, Newburgh; three brothers, Frederick Jr., St. Petersburg, George, Suffield, Conn., and Robert, Newburgh; and two sisters, Patricia Chatham, Queensbury, N.Y., and Mary A. LUNDQUIST, RICHARD S., 50, of Port Richey, died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1992) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. He came here nine years ago from his native Ridgefield Park, N.J. He was a purchasing agent. Survivors include his wife, Saundra; two daughters, Tracy and Trisha, both of Port Richey; and a sister, Valerie Robert, Ridgefield Park. Bell Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

SCALISE, LOUIS F., 71, of Port Richey, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here 12 years ago from West Hempstead, N.Y. He was a retired mechanic for Pan American Airlines, an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a retired Navy veteran. He was a member of the Palm Terrace Civic Association. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Robert, Middle Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Mary Lou Cella, Commack, N.Y.; a sister, Anna Orlando, Staten Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. SEVCIK, OLGA, 95, of Port Richey, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. Born in Czechoslovakia, she came here eight years ago from Detroit. She was a member of the Timber Oaks Pinochle Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Gignac, Port Richey; two brothers, George, Norcross, Ga., and Jerry, Basking Ridge, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. TURCZAK, OLEKSA, 60, of Bayonet Point, died Tuesday (Oct. 6, 1992) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. Born in Ukraine, he came here three months ago from South Bound Brook, N.J. He was a production employee for a medical supply company. Survivors include his wife, Anna Marie; a son, Ivan, South Bound Brook; two daughters, Cassandra, Washington, D.C., and Nadine, South Bound Brook; and two brothers in Europe. WHEELER, G. "STANLEY," 80, of Port Richey, died Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at home. Born in Winterhur, Del., he came here seven years ago from Englewood. He was the owner of a bus company and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Power Squadron, all of Seaford, Del., and a member of the Elks Lodge, Englewood. Survivors include his wife, Grace; two sons, William, Wilmington, Del., and Thomas, New Port Richey; a sister, Agnes Hood, Daytona Beach; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
