HARRY MILTON RAY, 45, a member of the musical trio Ray, Goodman and Brown, died Oct. 1 in Bound Brook, N.J., after a stroke. He had a gold record in the 1980s for co-writing the group's hit Special Lady. Mr. Ray's musical career began in the 1960s with a group called The Voltaires. In the early 1970s, he joined The Moments, which was renamed Ray, Goodman and Brown. The Moments had several platinum records while working in Europe, including Girls, Dolly My Love, Jack In The Box, and Don't Rain In My Backyard. Mr. Ray also acted on the television show Frank's Place.
