Authorities are investigating the death of a 46-year-old man found floating in a hot tub at a friend's home Thursday evening. The man, whose name has not been released, was found about 10:30 p.m. at a home on Ryals Road. Lt. Jerry Jackson, Sheriff's Office spokesman, said while there wasn't any obvious evidence of foul play, authorities will perform an autopsy. Authorities believe the man was alone in the hot tub when he died.
In court testimony Thursday, Philip Bolin, the stepbrother of accused murderer Oscar Ray Bolin, did not identify a woman he thinks his brother beat to death, nor did he say he saw the beating. A headline Friday said otherwise.
