Interesting angles update this home

Angular rooflines accented by diagonal and vertical siding, plus tall windows with wide board trim highlight this contemporary, comfortably sized home. The up-to-date detailing continues as you move from the sheltered entry walk into the front hallway. Angling to the right, you step into the spacious living and dining area, with an exposed-beam, vaulted ceiling.

Moving down the hall, you step into the sunken family room. It also has a vaulted ceiling, and a stone hearth for a woodstove and wood storage niche. The U-shaped kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook are between the living and family rooms, adding to the entertaining and family activity areas.

The house also is oriented to outdoor living. A patio with arbor is accessible from the dining room and the nook, another patio is adjacent to the family room, and the master bedroom has a screened patio with an optional wood deck and hot tub.

The master bedroom has a wall closet and dressing areas next to its private bath. Two more bedrooms, the hall bathroom and the utility room complete the 1,598-square-foot house.
