OBITUARIES

BEATTY, ROBERT L., 92, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday (Oct. 8, 1992) at East Pasco Medical Center. Born in Franklin, Pa., he came here seven years ago from St. Petersburg and was a retired rubber worker for Goodyear Tire Co. He was a Methodist, a 32nd-degree member of the Masonic Lodge, Akron, Ohio, and member of the Blue Lodge Consistory Shrine, Newcastle, Pa. Survivors include a son, Robert, Zephyrhills; a daughter, Dorothy Suncire, Zephyrhills; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. BLIGHT, MATTIE P., 95, of Holiday, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1992) at Helen Ellis Hospital, Tarpon Springs. She came here one year ago from her native Winter Haven. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Gaubatz, Holiday; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Holiday.

IACULLO, FILOMENA, 91, of Port Richey, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1992) at Windsor Woods Nursing Home. Born in Italy, she came here nine years ago from New York City. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hudson. Survivors include two sons, Moses, Port Richey, and Michael, Rosedale, N.Y.; two daughters, Lucy Ruggiero and Consiglia Vitucci, both of Port Richey; two sisters; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. PLOURDE, CATHERINE M., 82, of Port Richey, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1992) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. She came here three years ago from her native Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include a stepson, Ernie Plourde, New Port Richey; and two stepdaughters, Renette Spitzer and Beverly Marchica, both of Brooklyn; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. RICHARDSON, GEORGE B., 45, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday (Oct. 8, 1992). Born in Olean, N.Y., he came here from Cowlesville, N.Y., and was a construction worker and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Dorothy Balcom, Attica, N.Y. ROMANOWSKI, JOSEPH J., 74, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday (Oct. 8, 1992) at East Pasco Medical Center. Born in Chicago, he came here 26 years ago from Lombard, Ill., and was a retired baker and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Lutheran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; five sons, Joseph, Franklin Park, Ill., and Daniel, Ray, Steven and David, all of Zephyrhills; two brothers, Stanley, Masaryktown, and Edward, Norwich Park, Ill; two sisters, Helen Naliborski, Centralia, Ill., and Jean Crowe, Brooksville. SARRO, DANIEL J., 29, of New Port Richey, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1992). He came here three years ago from his native Freeport N.Y., and was a cashier for the Dairy Queen, Little Road, and a private in the 495th Army Reserve Transportation Unit, Lakeland. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Survivors include his parents, Frank and Josephine Sarro, New Port Richey; a brother, James, Island Park, N.Y.; and his paternal grandmother, Josephine Sarro, Hempstead, N. Y. SIMONSON, JOHN D., 83, of New Port Richey, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1992) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Boda, Norway, he came here 20 years ago from Montrose, N.Y., and was a retired wall paperer and interior painting contractor. Survivors include his wife, Mary.
