Cowboys 27, Seahawks 0

By the numbers: The Cowboys have won nine consecutive home games, their longest home winning streak since 18 in a row from 1980-81. Smith rushed 22 times for 78 yards. Dallas is 19-1 when Smith carries the ball 19 times or more.

QB Woes: Second-year pro Dan McGwire started at quarterback for the Seahawks. He replaced starter Kelly Stouffer, who injured a shoulder last week. But McGwire injured his left shoulder and pulled a groin muscle in the third period and was replaced by Stan Gelbaugh. Seattle coach Tom Flores: "I'm not sure if McGwire will play next week. We'll just have to see."

Quotable: Flores: "We got thoroughly whipped. There's not much you can say. We couldn't run, and they got after us when we tried to pass." Dallas linebacker Robert Jones: "It was important for us to show that the loss in Philadelphia was just a bad ballgame. We were a lot better than we showed up in Philadelphia."
