Jon Campbell was recently honored by United Parcel Service for 20 years of service with the company. Campbell, who is an air shuttle driver, began his career as a car washer in 1972. Jon and his wife, Donna, live in Port Richey with their three children.

Deborah L. Burge, Deborah Pearce and Kathleen Roberts of the Suncoast Eye Center/Eye Surgery Institute recently attended the Berkley Refractive Surgery, Marketing Management Course in Houston, Texas.


Marie Powell of Pasco County Inc./Better Homes and Gardens recently raised more than $750 at the Great American Yard Sale. Proceeds went to the Better Homes Foundation, the nation's only organization dedicated solely to addressing the needs of homeless families, and to the Salvation Army's Spouse Abuse Shelter in Pasco County.

Intimate Caterers Inc., 5308 Balsam St. in New Port Richey, just off of U.S. 19, recently opened. They are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays for take-out and delivery orders.

The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce Business Affairs Committee will present a workshop for local businesses to help them establish a Business Watch program. The Private Industry Council of Pasco County Inc. has been recognized by the Performance and Productivity Committee of the Florida Governor's Alliance for Employment of Disabled Citizens an outstanding performer in placing persons with disabilities into gainful employment.

At the National Association of Home Builders board meeting held recently in Lexington, Ky., the Pasco Builders Association received an award from the national organization for recruiting the most members in its region and group. The award was presented to Robert Shelton, executive director. Leon Moody of Moody, D'Aviro and Associates Inc., Rosemary Fitzpatrick of Windjammer Homebuilders Inc., Rune Lero of Sure Builders Inc., and Bette Farmerie of Farmerie Custom Homes were honored.
