Members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon recently installed their 1992-93 officers during a banquet at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza. Oliver "Gipper" Brown is the new president. Other officers are Irv Dupre, president-elect; Wayne McKenney, vice president; Marci Singleton, treasurer; Bob Stanton, secretary; Don Nelson, assistant secretary; and Anne Nymark, past president. Board members are: John Haines, Melissa Poage, Ralph Stoddard, Richard Nutting, Woody Wood, Tom Todd and Judy Sherwood. Mark Proctor, the new lieutenant governor of Kiwanis Division Eight, conducted the ceremonies.
During the banquet, awards were presented to several members, including Irv Dupre, the 1991-92 Kiwanian of the Year. Committee chairmanship awards were presented to Felix Llorca, Gary Scheuer, Richard Nutting, Tom Todd, Irv Dupre, Bob Stanton and Greg Zimmer. The Distinguished Service Award went to Anne Nymark. Two new members were inducted into the club during the ceremonies: Sandy Weicharding and Cynthia Williams. Earlier in the month Ed Hunzeker, Marilyn Cose and Kenneth Fernandez were welcomed in the club.
