Seattle is the best city for business in the country, Fortune magazine said in a survey released Wednesday.
"No city has escaped the ravages of recession, although Seattle has fared best by a long shot," the twice-monthly business glossy said in its fourth-annual ranking of attractive metro areas. The survey appears in Nov. 2 issues.
The rest of the top ten, in order, are: Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Denver, Chicago, Boston, and Orlando.
The magazine cited theme parks and resorts around Orlando as fueling the city's thriving economy and attracting foreign investors.
