New ministers finding job market is tough

Newly graduated Protestant ministers are having a hard time finding gainful employment. Divinity school graduates, numbering about 13,000 in the United States and Canada in 1992, are finding some churches are cutting back because of the recession. "Students are finding it more and more difficult to get entry-level positions," said the Rev. Hector Cortz of Boston.
