School Board chairman Lee Benjamin is among the 125 Tampa bay athletes competing in the Senior Olympics this weekend in Baton Rouge, La. Benjamin, 66, will team with Gene Biittner in doubles tennis. Benjamin and Biittner have played together for 40 years. For 10 years, they were rival high school basketball coaches when Benjamin was at Northeast and Biittner was at Boca Ciega. More than 7,000 participants, age 55 and older, are expected to compete in the games, a biennial event.
