Frank T. Beirne recently assumed the top administrative spot at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. Beirne, chief executive officer, has 13 years of hospital management experience, including administrator of Chatham Hospital Inc. and chief operating officer at RHD Memorial Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss. Beirne succeeds Maurice Arbelaez, who served as chief executive officer at the hospital for two years.
Charles Williams was recently named the new manager of the Larson's Men Store in the Crystal River Mall. He replaces Chuck Becker, the original manager since Larson's moved into the mall who will retire and work at the store part time.
Barnett Bank recently announced the promotion of three employees. Donna L. Boire was named assistant vice president/office manager and manages the Beverly Hills Office. Cindy Clark was named assistant vice president/regional operations coordinator and holds overall responsibility for all offices in Citrus County and two offices in Brooksville. Karen Werling was named mortgage loan officer.
Maranatha, a gift shop located in downtown Crystal River, recently changed ownership. Joan Cook, the new owner, said the store will change its focus from being a Christian bookstore to selling country and Victorian gifts. Merchandise includes angels, Afghans, children's toys, Christian books, folk art and gourmet coffee.
